I grew up in a neighborhood where we constantly outside playing with our friends, enjoying family picnics, going to summer camp and sledding and ice skating in the winters. I would like to provide a child with a childhood like this, filled with simple pleasures and fun.

Beach Cottage

SUMMER WEEKENDS

Most summer weekends and even all year round, my parents and sister and family all sleep over at the family beach cottage that we’ve had for almost 20 years. There are a lot of summer birthdays in the family and we have picnics all summer long with family and friends. We live about 9 houses from the beach and playground, and my nieces and nephew like riding on our golf cart around the area.

My sister and her husband have a cottage in the next town over and his extended family and ours are blended into one. We all go out on their boat with his sisters and their kids for family fun days!
