My Career & Faith
My dream trip to Paris
My Career
I made education and a career a priority and studied accounting in college and finance in graduate school. I have done financial planning, analysis and reporting for years, and recently made a change into corporate communications. I am responsible for the newsletters, town halls and intranet for my department, and the best part is the global relationships that I have made with my coworkers and spotlighting them for all of the hard work that they do. When I’m a parent, I’m going to ensure that I have flexibility to work from home and my first priority will be my child and weeknight dinners together, and being there for after school events and homework.
MY FAITH
Being part of a church was a big part of my childhood, provided a special place with my mother, sister, grandmother and great aunts and instilled in me to be a good person. I was baptized a few years ago which meant a lot to me. I intend to make church and providing a strong moral foundation a focus for my child.
VOLUNTEERING
Giving back is a big part of what makes me fulfilled and I am an active volunteer for children’s health causes, including running large fundraising events in support of children at our local hospital.
Running for Diabetes awareness at South Street Seaport in honor of my friend’s dad
Leading a volunteer activity at work for children in local hospitals
